Jimmy Ether Mastering
Jimmy Ether mastering services are provided to clients worldwide. You submit your material via our SoundCloud dropbox. I have some pre-packaged album specials or you can pay by the song. On average, I generally spend about an hour per song in the mastering process overall, and that’s over the course of several days revisiting the tracks. So if you prefer to sit in on a session, it’s best if you schedule with me to come in once toward the end of the process.

Individual Song Mastering
If you are releasing a single, or just a few songs, this is the most flexible option. Update the quantity of this item for the number of songs you need mastered. Currently on sale for $25 off per track for a limited time!

Vinyl Premaster Add-on
Putting out a vinyl 7″? Or maybe a 12″ or LP? Don’t just send the plant a master intended for Compact Disc and Digital Distro! Add on this vinyl option to get the most out of your vinyl pressing.
Purchase of either the Full Album or Individual Song mastering services required. Change the quantity for the number of tracks you want output for vinyl mastering and be sure to clearly state in email which songs are also going to vinyl and in what preferred sequence (if not a single).
This addon is a must if you plan to press some or all of your release to vinyl. I start with the final settings used on your digital master, but considerably reduce limiting and compression commonly needed for a reasonable sounding compact disc or digitally distributed release*. I also ensure low and high frequencies are below the level which can cause issues with vinyl playback. The result is a vinyl pre-master with the same consistency and tone of the digital release, yet the more dramatic dynamic range and depth of field that vinyl can reproduce.
*despite the fact that I don't suggest playing the loudness wars ever, vinyl is still capable of greater dynamic range and depth.
